Evolved By Nature believes in healthier relationships—between people, the things they love, and the world they live in. And they’re making it happen with bio-harmonious Activated Silk™ technology, a naturally sustainable alternative to the harmful chemicals used to make everything from skincare to non-stick pans. As the internal design lead, I was charged with bringing the nascent brand to life visually across communication touchpoints.

Photography. One of my first responsibilities was to begin to build a library of press photography. With the goal of presenting Activated Silk as a unique, elegant solution for a range of applications, I focused on capturing the beauty of silk cocoons in neutral as well as scientific settings.
Content strategy & execution. For social media, Evolved By Nature’s primary marketing channel, my team was tasked with creating content that educated viewers on the ubiquity of chemicals without being overly negative or fear-mongering. I collaborated with the copywriter and video producer to creatively concept and produce informative, digestible and engaging social assets from the brand’s small in-house photo studio and library of stock images.
Website redesign. A year into the brand launch, my team embarked on a site redesign with the primary goal of better explaining what Evolved By Nature did as a company. The site content is quite comprehensive and designed with a variety of users (consumers, partners, investors) in mind — if someone is interested in digging deeper, there are more areas to click through, while essential information is accessible up front. Visually, organic shapes and movement provided a nod to nature and chemistry.

Partnership collateral. To support business development efforts, I was in charge of prototyping co-branded marketing materials to establish awareness and brand equity for Evolved By Nature. As the nature of this partnership pitch work is confidential, I am unable to show the full breadth of work completed, but the below packaging insert represents a sample piece of collateral that highlights core benefits of Activated Silk alongside key brand and messaging elements from a hypothetical partner.
